With the second round of the UK's BRCA National 10th off road series just over a week away - the venue, Robinhood Raceway, has once again been hit by idiotic vandals.

Lots of mindless damage has been caused and if you'd like to lend a hand the hard working RHR crew will be trying to fix what they can this coming weekend.

As someone who is part of a team that runs a club I offer my sympathies. If I wasn't so far south I'd come and help.

Hope you get it sorted.

What sort of mindless pathetic excuse of a person/persons would go and do something like this!!:thumbdown:,At the end of the day it must be down to jealousy or just a complete lack of respect for certain people who work their volunteered asses off,I hope you find the people that did it and give them a right good kicking!!!!!

Absolute swines they are:mad:

It amazes me the fact the track isn't exactly close to any built up area and these scumbags would have had to go out of there way to do this.

I hope the CCTV has picked up these low life's James and the old bill can find them.

Most of us have been a victim to idiots like this at some point in our lives. This is the second time rhr has been hit and it must be the same idiots as last time. Its too far out of the way to simply be stumbled upon, so effort has been put in by these b*stards to do this. Hopefully some cameras will have picked up who this is so some justice can be served (and i wouldnt bother the police with it either)
These people need to be caught and had a "word" with.

Fuc*ing cu#ts, they are probably from the village more than likely. Little bell*nds with nothing better to do other than drink cheap cider and ruin peoples hard work.

If you could find them, I wouldn't bother with the police I'd get them and make them lick up all the food up. Is batter them around a bit as well obviously!

Why do they do it?????? Pointlessness.

If I didn't live so far away I'd be down in a flash.

It's disgusting to see something like this, you cannot understand the mindset of the people who do this for fun and simply do not give a moments thought to the upset, damage and cost that they cause, so sad.

I know it's an extra expense but have you thought about using something like smartwater as a deterrent and a possibility of finding the little scrotes responsible?

I hope it all gets sorted in time

Timing seems awful close to the national, not some disgruntled racer with a twisted mind because they didn't get an entry to a RHR event?

I know people will say who would do that, but there are plenty of screwed up people out there and I'm sure some unfortunately in this hobby.

Unfortunately we are dealing with a real blight on society these days. I remember a government 'official' appearing on a very well known T.V chat show earlier this year and stating that 'In the last decade hate crime and vandalism have dropped in the U.K by nearly 70%'.....hmmmm.. It is an all too frequent sight these days both in rural and urban community settings. I'm sure we all agree that the real answer for such malicious and destructive behaviour is to fundamentaly alter how young people are being raised, educated, and disciplined. Sounds like a big job...I guess it is, but until modern society unites to begin to resolve the issues that plague youth culture and also effect the wider population, mindless and malicious vandalism will always be there. I am very sad for the guys at RHR and I wish James and the rest of the dedicated crew up there the very best of luck getting things sorted. No doubt the idiots who were responsible for such a horrible attack have no concept that not only is this somebodys livelyhood, but it is also a source of passion, relaxation and education for hundreds of people...draw inspiration from the fact that our hobby has so many wonderful characters and amazing experiences that we will NEVER be beaten or supressed by such mindless acts of selfishness.

Big love and best wishes from all of us down in the Black Country guys.
Good luck:thumbsup:

I'd like motion triggered flame throwers better :)

On a serious note, if there is any cctv footage/pics I'd post it publicly and try get the scumbags named and shamed.

Hope you did ring the police as you never know, they were probably dumb enough to leave their fingerprint all over the place too.

James

Police have been great, they were out immediately and scenes of crime took some great fingerprints, DNA and various relevant artefacts back with them, they even phoned me this evening with an update, plus the insurers have been very helpful so far (hopefully). We've managed to pretty much make good race control and a few other bits, new windows, door, locks, cleanup etcetc and had a bit of a shopping trip for all the nicked stuff- cables, walkie talkies, spades, you name it! and so on.. Thankfully the computer/screen/etc still work that they'd chucked about and covered in cooking oil and washing up liquid (wtf:wtf:) Doing the cafe and toilet block tommorrow so getting there nicely - all will be good for the national! Thanks for all the offers of support, all very much appreciated

This is bad chaps. People these days!!!
Glad the clean up is going well!
People down & around the track should keep eys & ears open as crims always like to return to the scene of crime or like to bost about it!!

time for a silent alarm/hidden cctv directly transmitting images to your house James. Only way to catch them red handed.

The sad thing is (and I think this was mentioned last time it happened) this could quite easily be something to do with the people that actually race there. If not directly, but someones friends who have been with them to watch them race. They may have told their friends about the racing or something and it can all escalate from there. It only take one word to the wrong person/friend and this is what can happen.

I know it's horrible to think this but its a possibility.

I've helped out over there a few times, and when it happened last time it really p*ssed us off because we saw all the hard work being put in by a few so that many can race.
And to see that it happened again, well...

Chop their friggin fingers off!
It should be the penalty for this sort of thing, one knuckle at a time, so their fingers get shorter and shorter. They'd think twice after a few sessions of chop suey! Plus every one would be able to see what theiving little scumbags they are!

I say the best punishment for them is to make them rebuild the track back as it was before and do a year of community service, if the prison system won't work then at least get something back from them as a form of punishment
