Here are a couple of quick pics of my new project car. That car will technically be called an RC10 but it will have few actual RC10 parts on it. Back in the day there were so many aftermarket mods for the car that you could build an entire one out of aftermarket parts.

This car is the Bullet Racing RC10. I am using the Bullet Power Glide belt drive along with a Bullet graphite chassis and trailing arms. The drive shafts will be Bullet telescoping units that were really just repackaged Losi pieces. The rear bulkhead is from Andy's. That's all that is currently together.

The rest will consist of an Andy's front bulkhead, RPM front arms, rccarbonworks.com front and rear shock towers, B4 shocks, Lunsford Punisher turnbuckles, A&L bellcranks, and JC Racing wheels. The front steering hubs, axles, and the battery cup will probably be the only things actually from an RC10. This car will be a runner although it won't be run terribly hard.

More to come...

Does the power glide come with a slipper?
I hae some trackmaster turbo glides but the only thing which slips on those are the gritty balldiffs ;)

It does have a slipper but it's not pads like they are now. This was from the very earliest days of slippers so this used the diff rings, spur gear, and diff balls from the stock 6 gear RC10 as the slipper. The diff was a gear diff from an Ultima.

That's not too bad: traxxas friction pegs instead of the diff balls would make it work pretty well.
