Running my SCT last night when car cuts out, with a SP citrix 10.5T brushless system

Found that the yellow wire had disconnected itself from the motor.

Soldered the wire back on (+ checked that I hadn't bridged across any solder tabs), managed 1/2 lap and it cut out again.

ESC was red hot so let it cool, tried to run it again and nothing.

Tried recalibrating the esc but nothing

Today I connected a different motor to the esc and nothing (esc got really hot though!)

Connected the 105 motor to a different esc, it ran for 5 secs, smoked and then stopped.

From this I can deduce that both the esc and motor are both dead, unless there is something else I could try?

Thats what I suspected.

Your brushless system looks nice - I notice the motor is rated at 3300 KV, is that equivilant to about 12T?

I had a 8.5 turn that was rated at 4000kv so I think that 3300kv is about 10 ish

Shameless plug but I do have brand new Trackstar 100A Sensored ESC and used once 10.5bl in the for sale section £65 for both if you want them.
