I hope that the shortcourse truck will have 12mm hex, or that somebody makes a conversion.
I have tons of 12mm SC wheels that I could use
It would make the choice for a 2wd SC much easier.
I think that when durango has 12mm hex on their 2wd SC, they will sell a lot more trucks.
when going to a new truck you need at least 5 or 6 sets of wheels, would be much cheaper If you could use the ones you already have.

The shell is ace! It looks vintage, similar to the Schumacher Storm shell.
Although I like it., I was kind of expecting it to look like the DNX408t shell.

The prototype used same wheels DESC410R, it is fairly straight forward to convert it to 12mm Hexes, there are plenty of different 12mm hex blocks and pins across the models in the hobby to play with.
You would need zero offset 12mm wheels anyway as there is no offset on kit wheels.
The production model may be different, we'll have to wait and see, If its as good as prototype then its a winner for sure.
To be fair its the same whenever you change cars/brands, having to buy new wheels and tyres is expensive but they are consumables and you would have to buy them eventually anyway!
come on Durango, get it released, i want one badly!
