This is not a logical place for that question.
Such a question should be sent directly to a club official.

I spoke to Russ (fiddybux) a while ago and he said the track was very wet but it wasn't raining at that time. I do know the field is a quagmire though! I believe they were brushing the excess water off the track and getting set up. Gaffer tape is the order of the day I think!

went down the track before it was verry wet , they wern't using the streight and they where having to brush away the water
Racing did take place at Southport today. Obviously the forecast had put many drivers off and turn out was small.
Rain eased off and had pretty much stopped around lunchtime. After a round of free practice the straight had drained sufficiently to allow running of a full straight. With the striaght in use the infield was changed slighty prior to racing to make it less of a big flat out oval.
Weather stayed fine for 4 rounds of qualifying, but unfortunately just as the final listings were posted the heavens really opened. Finals were then abandoned.
Thanks to all who came and braved the weather.
