After various chats with Richard at Apex Models (www.apexmodels.com (http://www.apexmodels.com)) Surrey and Hants RCCC are pleased announce the return of the Apex GP :thumbsup:

Scheduled for 16th of September 2012 it's sure to be a cracking day of racing all forms of 1/10th buggies and trucks!

More details nearer the time regarding to race format, times, raffles, trophies and prizes to be won. You can be assured it will be a hearty feast of goodies :D:D

Date changed to the 16th of September to avoid other local fixtures :thumbsup:

Please note Surrey and Hants will be closed on the 23rd of September 2012.

There is no need to pre book or pre pay for the Apex GP 2012. However numbers on the day will be limited to 40 x 2wd 20 x 4wd, 10 Novice/Juniors and 10 Short Course. Please get in touch if you would like a place to be reserved, you can get in touch via oOple, Facebook, email or PM. Those who have reserved a place will be guaranteed a place on the day as priority.

Entry per class is £10.00 for all drivers and FREE for all junior racers.

All drivers will gain a raffle ticket with entry with more available on the day to purchase. Raffle prizes will be donated via Apex Models and their generous supplies, there will deffinately be a huge haul of goodies to be won!

A concourse event open to all classes, this will be judged between the heats and finals with special prizes for the winner.

There will be a prize for driver of the day and also Marshall of the day.

Special wooden spoon award for the unluckiest driver of the day.

Trophies for the top 3 in all finals.

Return of the infamous buddy race! (one driver steers, the other is in throttle)

There is no control tyre, it would seem the dry tyres are Yellow Schumacher Mini Spikes for the dry and Ballistic Greens for the wet stuff.

Due to demand on places, the Short Course class has been dropped from the days proceedings. If you has entered Short Course, please contact me to book either 2wd or 4wd.

Still places free guys!

i would of booked in as you ran a great meet for SCT national earlier in the year:D, but am going to BRCA f3/4 and 5 finals at Southport, that weekend.
maybe why there is shortage of bookings??:eh?:

It was to be the 23rd but Torch had been long time in the planning with their landlords with the lmr GP that weekend, so we agreed to move it to the weekend before so both clubs can gain from the other closing. I didn't know it was clashing with anything. We've nearly 70 booked in and I think none would have travelled there anyway.
