It works fine through a ethernet cable on the same router, so whats the fecks one????
Anyone got any suggestions????????

Just had a quick look on the 'net google searching "speedtouch aol ps3" and its not much use. About the most sensible thing one poster put was throw it away and get a Netgear which doesn't help you much. Can you change the channel on the router? I seem to remember I had to do that or summat with mine to get it to recognize my laptop, I think it was something about an MTU setting. Have you tried one of the ps3 forums, or the overclockers forum?

i use a speedtouch with the xbox and mtu bandwidth is fine so the crappy ps3 should have no problems:lol:

best advice I could give you is to get rid of the speedtouch and get yourself a proper router (linksys, netgear etc) that will be compatible.

You dont start 'proper' routers with Linksys :p but i would agree, provider provided equipment is normally pants.

If you can you wanna be on WPA, you can have a security word of your own choosing then, some older laptops/desktops don't like it, but most will. It's also more secure.
