Ok my first wet weather race and Im going to need some new bearings.

Im after some advice on what to replace them with.

Super cheap steel set, bin them after the next time I race with puddles on the track ?

Spend some more on good quality stainless steel bearings, and take good care of them ?

Spend a lot on ceramic / stainless ?

Im not realy going to benefit from performance / friction improvements, Im interested in lower maintenance & long life.

Cheers.

Atomic carbon bearings are brilliant, they are a bit pricy for a full set (I just bought the 'outer' ones on a B4 for around £20 I think) but they cope with dirt so much better than the standard kit ones and I haven't had any problems with rust and the like yet

I'll second that the atomic ones are supperb. Had a set in both my cars for about 12 mounths and there like new with very little maintenence:thumbsup:

Cheers for the advice.

Atomic ones seem to be in some strange alien size  so Ill have to look elsewhere.

Schumacher sourced ones look like the best bet currently, ceramic ball, rubber shields. Just waiting for confirmation that they are stainless.
