Are either of you going to get any of them running or are you just going to polish them on a shelf!

Come on, historic indoor series required with handicaps for running newer cars than others. Maybe based on the year the car was introduced, although i can see some arguments about that!!:D

Thanks for buying the JRX2 Northy, it wil come in handy for spares. LOL:p

Guys I reckon you should atleast photograph the beasts, and create a shrine for them on oOple.com. I remember some of the names above, not all, but some, and I haven't seen many of them for 10-15 years. Then there are the cars ive heard of but never seen! like the AYK's.

Stu

I need a JRX for this, allthough the XX is cool, it's not really old enough.

Anyone know where there is one?

I saw a badger today, it was nice. It was white and black, but smelt a little funny. I think it had been butt raped by a Ford Fiesta.

I saw one of these once, looked about the size of a sheep, but it was all wolly woth horns, and still alive in a field with some others.

I've seen those too, smell a little different to Badgers. I like the smell of quails eggs early on a morning, in the fog.

Scott, what are you on about? You make no sense to me. Are you on the wakey bacey? We were having a sensible conversation.

Anyway, Stu is sat next to me eating the best cheese cracker he has ever eaten in his life.

I like the smell of hedgehogs. They is bling. If you are not aware, their head smells different to their bum. I'm more of a fan of the head end, but each to their own. Stu likes the bum end.

Once there was a man, he was very special. He had a spade. It was a nice spade. He could dig with it. It was good. One day he dug a hole, which was big. A tank drove into it one day. I liked that. Then a seagull flew over and pooed on the tank. It landed in the gun turret and jammed up the mechanisam, which was poor. I don't think it ever worked the same again, the poo was the reason.

If you intend to buy a bride from Tailand, make sure she can speak English, or at least is good in bed. If she can't ASDA might be pissed when she complains about the bleach leaking that you bought last week. Also, she may go off of her tits on a night out for no reason.

Here endth the first leson from G and Stu.............

We was at Yorkshire Model Engineering Show (it was fxxxxxx ace, them old lads have some proper smart RC trains, they run on proper coal, none of this Li-Po crap) , and then we was in the pub, again.

Now then freak boys:D

If you were at the Model Engineering show @ Pickering show ground you'll have see my old man (My Dad not my P***s:p ) he had three live steam models on show. Must be where i get mi patience from, they take him yonks to construct, but the use of all his machinery come in handy:D

Rotary aero engine (http://www.northernracer.com/show/3.htm)
This thing was absolutely awesome, a fully working model of a rotary aero engine. There were some pics of it running on the stand. As an engineer I can appreciate the time & effort that goes into something like this, we spend our time fannying around with plastic kits (admittedly we do race them) but this is something else. The show-report is pretty tongue-in-cheek, but, this engine was genuinely very cool indeed.
