I've had a bit of a break from painting, so did a couple of tourers to try and get my eye back in so to speak... I got approval from oOple San about posting some more work as time goes by as well

These two weren't for anyone in particular, just exercises, so if anyone wants one of these, PM me...

WOOHAA19 is purple King as well, so the more purpley and shiny the shells, the better ;)

Here's the latest...

A "copy" of an existing shell design, but in my style, for Ian Purnell...

http://www.machonedesign.co.uk/zodpaint/paint2008/purnellx6_01.jpg

http://www.machonedesign.co.uk/zodpaint/paint2008/purnellx6_02.jpg

Looking good:woot: Can't wait to try out the X6 ....

GeneralZod
18-06-2008, 04:53 PM
OK... Here are the latest examples...

Firstly, matching MR4BX for Ian Purnell...

http://www.machonedesign.co.uk/zodpaint/paint2008/purnellmr4_2.jpg

Then there's Nick Hudson's X6 with my take on his design and his colour choices...

http://www.machonedesign.co.uk/zodpaint/paint2008/hudsonx6_1.jpg

http://www.machonedesign.co.uk/zodpaint/paint2008/hudsonx6_2.jpg

Last, but by no means least, is Jason Bennett's Atomised B44 shell...

http://www.machonedesign.co.uk/zodpaint/paint2008/bennetts44_1.jpg

http://www.machonedesign.co.uk/zodpaint/paint2008/bennetts44_2.jpg

http://www.machonedesign.co.uk/zodpaint/paint2008/bennetts44_3.jpg

The SP for this shell was "as scary as you can think of" :woot: which is always a nice thing to be asked...

I hope everyone likes their shells...

lookin good bro
last one looks like a nemo design, was thinkin of doing one similar to that soon.
also, the grey in the second shell, is that some sort of stippling effect or something? hard to tell from the pics.

keep em comin

GeneralZod
18-06-2008, 06:31 PM
The last one is based on something I saw donkeys ago and is kind of tie-dye trippy-ness :)

The grey isn't stippled, is sparkliness :woot: ...metalflake...

Cheers for the compliments... I'm still the Padowan, not the Jedi yet ;)
