Have i imagined it, or have i seen an alloy steering link, connecting the 2 steering levers, with forward facing ball studs for the trackrods?

Tom has such steering on his car, but it's just proto part in testing.

Havent seen this so not sure exactly how that differs from existing alloy steering upgrade.

Whats the theory behind the prototype?

Easier to adjust Ackerman by adding/removing spacers behind the ballstud.
