When I ran my 8th scale at MMRX I found green compound Subcultures worked best from my JC arsenal. 3D's were released just after I got rid of my RC8B so never got to try them, but I bet they'd be good too :)

Jonnos secret is out! Lol
Jonno's secret hasn't been tested so it's more a gamble!
Dirt tyres were poor compared to what we found worked well and we did try a fair few types of SCT tyres across the manufacturers!
They will be on sale on Sunday so wouldn't go buying tyres just yet!

ts2, but on 1/8th rallycross there cityblock, gridirons n impact all work well depending if the track is blown out or dusty

Sorry matey but SCT's are not 1/8th buggies.. So comparing tyres just doesn't cut it I'm afraid.
The only reason I make this point is to help stop others spending good money on expensive tyres that very likely will not be competitive or of much use, so it's not personal.
Electric power is more instant and variable, the cars are a lot lighter and power to weight ratio/balance is different, wheels are different profile and they have a huge plastic jelly mould of a bodyshell on top!
We found the track very dusty, rutted up in places and the jumps are quite aggressive on SCT's due to them being designed for large heavier nitro cars... Real nice layout and will hopefully bring some good racing at the weekend
