Good Morning! I was wondering if you guys could help me..

I'm looking for some low profile Nylock M4 wheel nuts for my Tamiya TRF511, I'm have a couple of problems with the wheels erm.. falling off :eh?:

As far as I can tell, it's due to the length of the thread on the front wheels not being long enough to go through the Nylock on a normal size wheel nut.

I've been trawling the interwebs but I can't seem to find any.. anyone got any ideas? :)

You need some M4 serrated nuts. That'll solve your problem.

Afternoon, cheers for your reply.

However, I've tried some serrated nuts before and they fell off too :/ The problem is that I can't tighten the nuts too much otherwise it adds resistance to wheel due to pressing on the bearing.

Hi,

I used to have the same prob on my B44.1. I just added a bit of threadlock on the nut and thread of the drive shaft. Sorted it out a treat.

Cheers Paul:thumbsup:

I think HPI do some serrated nyloc nuts - but they are expensive! Not sure how low profile you need and thus how suitable they are for your needs either...

CML do some nyloc/serrated M4 nuts in various colours, pretty cheap too.
