Hi.

Can anybody tell me the difference on trailing steering
and inline steering???
- and what effect does it have on the cars handling??

Many thanks :-)

Insert guide (http://www.team-durango.com/in-the-pits.php?car_id=0&article_id=4518)from Team Durango

To add a little more light to the guide mentioned by onekiwi.

I ran every configuration over a clubnight and basic rule of thumb was the more trail the car had then the more stable it was on corner entry but with more mid corner grip. Less trail made the car more nervous on initial turn but then understeer mid bend.

What surface was that on Ben? I have yet to change mine from middle position but I think I need to play around with this setting which may help me get a little bit faster laptime.

Most of the setup sheets on durango are showing 4mm trailing with very few running 3mm trailing. I somehow managed to get mine on 2mm trailing from when it was built and realised and went to 4mm trailing and the difference is massive so much more controlable and i even turned off the -15%exp i had on the steering.

Also whats been important is to get the spacer washers infront or behind the hub dependant on what trailing your running which is shown on the setup page on durango.

Been running trailing for a while know since recommended by a Team driver and the steering is smoother even in my numb fingers!:o:confused:
Grant next time you come to TORCH take mine for a spin and see if you notice any difference?
