Ok as we now have our own home brew forum, this is something i played with last year, standard HPI Pro4 modded for off road, the Pro4 has one of the best and smoothest shaft transmissions around, car ran great in the street but major problem was the custom made drive shafts, kept bending :(

Looks very nice, have you tried it offroad yet? Does it go well?

how do the diffs hold up ?? I had a problem with blowing diff & one way gears as a regular TC car with 12turn on carpet, cant imagine how they will hold up in off road without a slipper.

Never went further than the street as i kept bending the driveshafts :( so not sure how it would of held up off road, but i guess it would of made a nice indoor car.

MIP offers custom cvd manufacturing. $75 USD for the first four, $15 each after that. might be worth it i think

When i was working on it during the summer last year, i contacted MIP but then they were not interested, i guess the custom made service is a recent thing for them. But i have now moved on from this car to the S4 :) but it was a nice project and pretty easy to convert.
