....But look how far forward the motor is, definately got more fore weight than a BJ4/B44 or other clone.

Not really, it's just the motor mount is the other end of the motor.....

It is definately a bit further forward, but looking at the centre of mass of the motors it probably only 5 or 10mm different. Your right the front spur makes the motor seem much more forward than it really is.
Nice space between back of motor and cells, maybe rog can move the cells forward!
Also noticed the bodyshell has the same cockpit as an RB5 shell... is it just cut and shut prototype shell or new harmonised design?

More to do with the torsional loads through the wishbones, I am still convinced that the suspension moves more freely with the shocks mounted behind the wishbones .... if there was an easy way to achieve that at the front end then I would!!

I`m intrugued to know also, the wishbones wont flex front to rear which is what i assume you mean roger.
The forces are transferred from the wheel to the WB which is pretty much centred depending on the spacing on the hub. Or am i missing the point?

Someone who I trust told me it won't make any difference, and that ideally the shock should be at the same angle as the antisquat :thumbsup:

That is true assuming that the wishbones are torsionally stiff enough to maintain there geometry under load but I've never come across a moulded wishbone that I can twist torsionally ..... the best are probably the Tamiya 501X parts then the RB5 fronts.
The statement is based on experiences of moving shocks around on several cars and may well be nothing more than a placebo effect within my mind but on each occassion the car has seemed to react to sharp ruts and bumps better.
