I wish mine had stayed in one piece at Swindon
I broke in every qualifier and the final - two front uprights, two ball joints and three rocker pivots!
Oh well, thems the breaks...... did I really just say that? :)

from what i was told the team tested the big bore shocks and nailed a setup that will be passed onto the other team drivers as well as anyone one who buys the new shocks or a x11 kit as soon as the shocks are available, also they were using a standard car on all other points.

the rocker pivots are being revised and wil be added as a running change to improve strenth and should be available soon. ive heard that the ball joints and front hubs will have simlar modifications as well to aid strenth in the future.

I used to run the hollow rocker pivots on my X10 - but they were defenetly weaker. Don't think i ever had a problem with any, but i remember Russ W breaking them when we ran my car for him at F2's.
Not surprised they have changed shocks - maybe only surprised it has taken so long. We used some Touring car ones on x10, and it defenetly improved the car. THe only small problem was getting the stroke correct to be ideal on the rougher tracks. Even with incorrect stroke, you could feel that it was going to be an improvement.

Ah ha, Tresspassers! Guilty as charged Your Honour!
Team Xtreme - We need to talk about these 'arrangements' more formally! Donations gratefully accepted!
All drivers please note Eden Park Raceway should only be used by prior agreement and in return for the published fees or following workpartys at the weekends! Or by members.
We can not have drivers using the track without our prior knowledge just in case our landlords question unscheduled attendances! Just ask yourself this - Would you want to be the one to jeopardise our future at this venue?
Please, please, please at least have the common courtesy to let one of the Committee know that you would like to use the track.
Thank you.

Jeff, clearly you didn't read Steve's post properly. This may not be the right place/thread to set things straight but clearly it needs to be done.
We are not against racers using the track, but we need to know if people are going to be there as the venue is on private land - we do not want to jeopardise our position!
Before we took on the track and its rejuvenation, no-one was allowed to use the track at all apart from race days, unless you hired the venue for £200! Therefore I think we are doing something better for the racing community. We are just asking for a small contribution to go towards club funds.
Since January of 2007, there has been a core group of us who have put in time, effort and our own money to restore this track. Nearly every Saturday since, we have been working on the track, surrounding area, etc, trying to make it better for everyone. With the racing season in full swing, help over the weekend is limited so it is falling on the more local help to put in more hours and this includes Sundays and holidays.
Unlike US tracks, there is no shop next door that is able to help support the track and we have enough trouble raising money to pay for our rent and other costs associated with developing our venue and purchasing supplies.
We are not raining on anyone's parade. We are just asking for some common courtesy...
I personally took a little offense at your post. Maybe you should you take a little time to look at the club's website where you can see where the hard work has been put in - www.edenparkraceway.com
You will be able to see the fence too!
Thank you

Yes as stated before - future arrangements will be made.
To be honest though - it shouldn't have really been posted on the forum where it is open to other peoples opinions. Not very professional either:thumbdown:, a pm or e-mail would have been better and more discreet. Can't really take offence as it is just POV.
It has also gone completely off topic which were the photo's that were taken.:D

If anouther Racing Team had done the same would there have been a kick off ?
Cant see it, seems to be like. " Oh look what Xtreme have done ! "
Is there any warning or stating that the track isnt available for use outside of racing hours? This really doesnt seem fair that it was posted like that maybe saying ..
"A select few were caught on the track and shouldnt have been there..."

Garry , its common courtesy for teams and any drivers wanting to practice to ask the Club owners if they can come and use there track .
its not a vendetta against Extreme at all .the same would of been said about any other team !!!! but any other team would have known to ask in the 1st place.

I don't believe you know the full story and i am not about to get into it. Silly comments? I think we have enough of that on here by certain people anyway don't you. Also people posting when they have had no prior interest? That is why it's a forum.
Also any other Team would have known to ask?? I'm assuming you know all the Team owners personally, to be able point that out? Again you don't know the full story and your comments are therefore silly.

Hey G
Something was done - I'm not going to go into it further as it's getting silly and quite frankly it's no-one else's business (not meaning you)
