I have now fractured two ball studs in the rear of my X5. I use the standard Losi ones at the moment but was wondering if the only way to solve this is to replace them with titanium ones. If so which ones are recommended and from where?

How on gods green earth did you fracture two ball studs? :eh?:
Sure I've bent them in the past, but never fractured them.
Lunsford do titanium ones...would seem to be a good product based on turnbuckle reputation:

I have been running the car at a 1/8th Rallycross track to shake it down before Belgium to see what breaks. I was just coming round the corner yesterday and the rear fell apart and when I got it back the ball stud had fractured where the ball stub enters the plastic of the rear hub. This has happened twice now on the same side. I am thinking of using the lunsord titanium ones you mention. Anyone know of a supply in the UK?

If they are the losi ones with the 2mm hex in the end then yeah they are a little weak...I have broken them just putting them in.
Get either the losi ti ones or Lunsford.

It was the very ones that you mention E. Have some Losi and Lunsfords on the way.
