The weather looks awesome this weekend, is anyone looking for a place to race at the weekend? If we can generate enough interest we could run a meeting at our grass track in Towcester on Sunday.

Let us know.

Hey mate, Sunday would be perfect for me tbh. However, I can only commit to your recent re-scheduled Friday meet or Sunday not both! I understand why you need to know numbers so which would you prefer I attend?

What would your approximate start and end times be on the Sunday?

I'm definitely interested if I can make it fit with my prior commitments.

We're happy to run from 8/9am straight through till finish, 4 rounds and finals.
Based on the number on entrants we could be finish early afternoon.

Or as before run from 12 till finish probably around 5pm. Again this depends on the number of people looking to attend. Let us know you preference.

In that case!

Matt Owen 2wd please Matty :)

The later the start the better for me, plus sat night really cold and nobody wants to race on wet grass so more drying time the better ;)

When will the final decision be made if you are not running on the 30th mate? I was looking forward to this! Not allowed to travel far tomorrow as raced last night. I hope weather is as good in a couple of weeks

Hi mate, sorry about not running. If we get 25 or close booked in by the Friday (28th) then we'll run.

Explaining to the Mrs that not only have I been out all day cutting the grass/running a meeting, and only a hand full of people have turned up goes down like a lead ballon, especially as I've been working late all week, and today.

Mate, I understand all your points probably more than most. However people need to plan their weekends too. You need to get help mate, it far too much for a couple of you to do all by yourselves. Hell, I would've run it for you at zero benefit to Silverstone!

Getting the track ready for a meeting tomorrow was not really an issue, but as you say with some help the track could be changed more often and things can be done quicker.

The landowners given us a free reign to develop the site over the winter, and we've got some awesome plans to improve the facilities, we just really need more people like yourself, and the other regulars do to support the venue as well.

We're in the process of getting a committee in place, so hopefully we'll be able to make this venue as good as it can be.

Hi,

We're at the school tonight. Our next and last meeting outdoors this year is on the 30 September.

After that we'll be spending the winter landscaping the track ready for next year.
