Traxxas VXL-3S ESC help!

Basically i was using my VXL ESC with my traxxas 10t unsensored motor and it has just stopped working TOTALLY, no steering or forward backward motion. I have looked inside as its well out of warranty and it doesnt smell burnt or look burnt.

Any ideas?

If there is no steering it sounds like the BEC has blown and therefore you're not powering the receiver and servo.

Did you hit anything before it failed? Sometimes if the servo is jolted, by hitting something, it draws a lot of current and the BEC blows.

ha ye that sounds like it then, it stopped after i hit a slope on a driveway, landed with the wheels still in the turned position.

Any fixes? or anyone that can fix it?

Try an external supply into the receiver to see if the rest of it still works while leaving the speedo switched off.

everything else works just fine, i now have a skyrc toro 5150kv ESC/Motor combo, but i still want to get the traxxas repaired if it can be.
