SC4 body?

Guy's, does the Ansmann SC4 have a lexanbody, or is it the same plastic stuff like other Ansmann's? Thanks.

i bought the sc4 from jemodels found it on ebay for £49.99 or best offer and got it for £45 direct so id do that.i think the body is lexan

The SC4 comes with a pre-painted body, and if you know about the pre-painted bodyshells they are all pretty weak. I believe they are lexan but it seems a lot thinner than the clear lexan that comes with the pro kits. It must be something to do with they can't print onto the thicker lexan and so have to use a thinner type instead.

The body off the X4SC will fit straight on to it and is made out of thicker see through lexan which you have to paint yourself. The bodyshells on them are really solid. I believe the part no. for this is 125000662
