Broxtowe Model Car Club, Off Road Club Meeting Sunday 8th June


A quick note to remind you all about our upcoming off road club meeting on 8th June

Gates will open around 8.00am to lay track. All help welcome! Racing underway by around 9.30am.

Hoping to have 4 qualifying rounds and 2 finals

All welcome. No tyre restrictions, just 2 classess, 2wd or 4wd:D

£5 Club Members
£6.50 Non Members

no problem with the meeting but you might want to be their
earlier rather than later

but a lot of people enjoyed the track for the regionals as it was
will have a think and try and please everybody all the time:lol:

Looking forward to this! Looks like weather is going to be good. I presume most will be running 4wd seing as the next regional is on grass at West Bridgford the following week?

managed to get most of it done before it rained
and there will be a feature to please the acrobats:woot:
we will be there from 8am to set up all help appreciated

Well what a blessing with the weather! Really enjoyed today and thought the track was ace. Hope next weekends regional at Bridgfrod has as good weather!:D Lots of really close racing with many a do or die flyover the jump for the line decideding final posistions!!! :thumbdown: The table top was a bit marmite I think. I personally liked it although couldnt jump it in 1 and also never tried!!! Just made it alot more difficult and interesting than a flat grass track. It was all done for you Mr Helliwell!!! And you didnt even bother turning up!!! How rude!;)

Heres the vid I did from today of the first 2wd A Final. Was a awsome finish to this race with 3 cars jumping for the line to take the win!

And I must say I was very surprised how well the RB-5 goes straight out of the box ! Losi back end---B4 front end !!!!! It works ! Cant wait for Worksop again this winter no more b4/RB turning up the inside anymore !!!! ill be one of them doing it !!!!:p

I hate watching videos ! especially when I looooooose ! Didn't do bad to get on the back end of from nearly half a lap down after 2 mins though ????? and if it had jumped straight i might have had them on the line !!! HE HE HE
