View Full Version : Dumbass question time - 2wd front wheels
Just ordered a new set of fronts and rears for the DEX210. Front part number is TD510020. Thing is they are about 5mm wider than the one's i have hear already (bought with the car).
Im assuming i cut these down so they suit the slim tyres ?
I know, dumb question....but i'd rather be certain than chop at them to find i've buggered a set of new wheels.

You assume correctly, I find the easiest way is to run a sharp knife round the rim 2 or 3 times till the waste falls away.

leave em as is. will not effect the performance but does not look great. seen many leave the inner edge on. I remove mine, either with a dremel or sharpe knife.
