Ok so I have had a cheap compressor and It has done me ok but I think I have reached the point where I want something better. Mine is ok but I'm finding the lack of pressure annoying. Can I ask what you guys are using??

I use an older version of this...

I bought it when I first started airbrushing about 5-6 years ago. Mine gets used alot and it is still going strong.

Try the Bambi ones, available very cheaply here

They're as noisy as your fridge, so you can hear the airbrush, will work happily for hours and maintain a constant pressure. Highly recommended.
Had mine since college, so about 94 I think, one service and still going strong. You can pick them up 2nd hand on ebay too. Type in silent compressor and see what comes up. However, these are cheap and I'd just get one new for the peace of mind plus it's guaranteed.

Thanks for the ideas guys. The machine mart one looks like a good bet (bambi one looks good too but I like the price of the other one) I am guessing I'd need a seperate moisture trap for it??
JM- think it's likely I will be touch about an airbrush too!!

depends on your budget and where/when you will be spraying mostly mate, the bambi silent ones are supposed to be quite nice.
sure, the brushes i stock are great. just give me a shout with any questions you may have etc

Similar to Mr Millar, I'm using a 'workshop' type compressor. It's noisy, but I paint in a seperate garage with noise cancelling earphones, so don't mind... Not sure what the neighbours think.....
Mine was £50 in B&Q 6 or 7 years ago :p
The C5 'brush from RCS is superb as well. Been using one for a few weeks and haven't looked at my Eclipse. Brilliant brush, and great value.
