Vintage SCRC's WOW!

A friend of mine asked me if I could muster up a old pack of NiCads for him to use for something or other...

...well, I dug an old set of 1700 SCRCS out that I haven't used in 15 - 20 years. Cleaned them up a bit, stuck them on a charger, peaked them up and discharged them.

1686mah. Amazing. Whodathunkedit!

good old cells the 1700scrc, still have a couple of packs and they show good capacity but really lack any punch at all, also have 2 packs of 1400scr which are slightly better than the scrc's. as for the old 1700 sce's, they look pretty but thats all they are good for

Sorry to hijack the thread but it seemed pointless to start another one.
Anyway, I've been moving house and guess what I found in the loft?

I haven't tested them yet as I need to change the connectors to something I can attach to my charger.
I'll let you know how I get on :D
