virus... vundo?

anyone ever heard of this virus as i have it on my pc and cant get rid... alot of virus sofware has gone through my pc and this little beee hatch is still there?

Boot the machine in 'Safe mode with networking', install and run Adaware (click (http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-2008/3000-8022_4-10045910.html?part=dl-ad-aware&subj=dl&tag=top5&cdlPid=10844457)), Spybot (click (http://www.safer-networking.org/en/mirrors/index.html)) and run a Housecall Scan (click (http://housecall65.trendmicro.com)). Once you have run them all reboot in safe mode again and repeat, after doing that a few times you should have rid of most nasties :)

I had one like this my self.It sounds like a rootkit problem.
down load F-SECURE BLACKLIGHT ROOTKIT ELIMINATOR.
It will stop it from re-sporning. Hope this helps.

top advice there from Rich. What virus software are you running. AVG is ace and free. It is also very light on system resources, so doesn't slow your machine down much. They have released version 8.0 now.

already tried booting in safe mode n running adware n spybot... i do that all the time when i get a virus... but wont shift this one... its ok i reinstalled windows my laptop was due a reinstall anyways.. thanks for help ppl:thumbsup:
