I'm in south wales (caerphilly) and my local club is having a weekend off.

but there's no surf, all my biker mates are on holiday, and the missus is out with her mates for the day - so I'm looking for somewhere to race!

I'll happily travel as far west as swindon, and as far north as birmingham

anyone know of any off road race meetings taking place? I'm running 1/10th electric off road.

Cobra might be runnig at Heath park on sunday....check the website
and Swansea might be runnig, again check the clubs websites
both can be found on the b.r.c.a page
if not Firday night at Caldicot is a good place to go.

Cobra are not racing this weekend, Swansea is your best bet if you want to stay in Wales, otherwise Ledbury or up around there?

... that i'm running Lipo !

millzy, I've considered swansea, but it's not clear if they're running on sunday.

I've also checked out ledbury, but it doesn't look like there's anything on.

theres a club championship meet with swindon MCC (find their website and check out their track -sweet!) but they're running to BRCA rules according to the site - which means no lipo. I've sent them a mail just in case :)

I used to run quite regularly at caldicot on fridays, but that's currently a busy night for me.

You can run lipo at swindon, but you won't get points, that's all

there may well be an open heat at the CML regional also that will allow Lipo etc

I'm booked in for swindon on sunday :)

looking forward to it. it'll be interesting - I'm going to have to learn how to take jumps

I'll be treating it as a shakedown / testing session, so I'll be staying firmly out of everyone's way as much as possible. and it'll be my first meeting with a 6.5 motor. I think my 10.5 would feel like a silver can 540 down the straight.

I considered the CML meet, but I would have thought it'd be fully booked out by now - and newbury is just that little bit too far.
