i've just bought a speed passion 6.5 motor, and installed it in my B44.

i'm running a 19t pinion and stock spur, as recommended in the b44 manual. i've spent quite a while making sure the drivetrain is ultra-sweet :thumbsup:

i'll be running the trakpower 3200 saddle packs, as this is all I have at the mo..... is anyone else running this combo?

will I get away with it, duration wise?

with the 10.5, I was only using 900ma in a 5 min race.....

I know it will be interesting. the hottest motor I ever ran was the 'dynatech super touring' 13 double in the tamiya eurocup.

Last weekend i was running a 5.5L with 3200 Trakpower saddles in my Atomized B44, lasted the 7 minute final and was only 85% charged. So you should be ok for 5 minutes.

15 minutes i am not so sure of, but you could gear up a little.

it's shocking that a similar warning doesn't come with the motor i've just spent £70 on.... :thumbdown:

jus imagine if you £70 motor blew up in front of you before youve even raced it, youd be gutted. i think everyones done it before, as its exciting :woot: but i reckon they put the warning there to protect there own asses. incase someone complains about build quality of a motor that breaks apart when revved.

the track at swindon was huge compared to what I'm used to, so I decided to go up a tooth.

the new motor was outstanding... loads of power - and easily enough top end speed.

did I get away with 3200s?

...and in the second round, the cells took 1089 mah to top up. 1000 was pretty much the average; the motor was warm but by no means hot.
