On Wednesday I was having a few problems with my DEX210. Every time I went over a jump my left drive shaf kept falling out. I contacted durango and the said that it is not a common problem and gave me a few things to check but I can't find anything wrong. At the moment I am having to have my drop screws out about 2mm ish and this seems to solve the problem for now.

Has anyone else had this problem or know a way to stop this?

Many thanks

Tom.

I too had this problem. Contacted Durango who have been really helpful sending me new shafts etc but couldn't fix the issue until I put the gear diff in as the outdrives are longer

Ive found going to the 1.5 anti squat helps as this reduced droop narurally anyway. You can reduce the droop more - if you look at the pin sitting in the out drive at max droop and turn the wheel you will see the pin actually leaves the slot in the cup. Keep reducing the droop until the pin stays inside and it should be better

The kit rear shock shafts are also 55 I think in length - there is a 52 length available I think which should help

I also found that if any of your turnbuckle ends have any slop or play the problem is worse

Simple solution would be for Durango to increase the out drives to match he gear diff ones.......

I had the same problem but mine was any way on the track the way it was fixed was by putting the plastic out drive covers on and it holds them in and the outdrive cover fits snugg and holds the shaft in and then after a few weeks and you can take them off and it stays in and holds it there

I tried those covers - they lasted about 4 laps before the shaft ripped through the plastic

The out drives just need to be 2mm longer per side and the issue wouldn't happen
