Hello all.

How is the maintenance between belt driven cars and Ball diff and gear diff?
is one of them easier to maintenance and have less maintenance then the other ore?

Best Regards.

Gear diffs are probably least maintenance but the oil in them needs changing at times for tuning to the track conditions. Gear diffs are generally best on grippy surfaces such as carpet and astro, ball diffs are better on dirt.

Been running a two belt tamiya with a 6.5 motor and never had a belt problem in 2 years use all I ever did was clean away any dirt/moisture etc, spent more time stripping and cleaning the ball diff.
