I'm still mourning the sale of my 1965 2a

Hope it all works out, I know some projects can get away from you. Chassis looks ok from the front, might need a doorpost though.

Ah come to think of it I still have a brand new autosparks loom with alternator option. If I can find it would you be interested?

Matt

Just spotted its a diseasel, loomis for a 2.25 petrol.. oh well never mind.

Hi there, did this many moons ago and trialled my series 2 swb first of with the diesel, then put in 3litre v6 essex engine from old granada with twin cherry bomd pipes then went full on with the chevy short block 7.2 v8 and went canvas top with a full roll cage.Best 5 years i ever had when fuel was 75p a litre, couldn't afford it now though.Wish i could buy a 90 defender and use it for racing as it's a bit tight in a peugeot 106.Good luck with your new hobby.

Can't afford trailing but a nice condition series 2a is worth £10000+ so it would seem a shame to trial this, but I do fancy having a go at it, does look good fun

Nice will. Love the number plate. Just 2 ish years to wait and you can take your driving test

Just watch out for trees while you wait ;)

Yeah ace isn't it, less than that, 10 months, I'll be careful because those trees are very dangerous, they jump out on you

Picked up the correct wings today, £105 for the pair, absolute bargain, now just need to strip the truck, small bit of welding then painting

As long as you keep away from the super glue you'll be fine
