i also meant the 410Rv3 as from what i can see the shock collars have been updated to composite the chassis is thinner, the shell is different and that is it am i correct or not?

if you get the tresrey or durango alloy hexes you will be able to get the newer wheels

Where is best place to get spares? What upgrades/spares do i need, the car came with. Carbon shock towers front and rear and the tresrey aluminum servo saver crank

At least 95% of the part numbers are identical. Probably more. And i can't think of anything except the hexes and shocks (big bore/small bore) that aren't fully compatible/interchangeable.
Get some tresrey or exotek lock on hexes (about 15 quid for 4, come with everything you need to fit them) then you can use the new wheels. (the old wheels, 12mm and pin, aren't available anywhere anymore)

MB Models ( www.rccarshop.co.uk ) is where i get a lot of my stuff. Or the american sites if i'm not in a hurry.

Have a poke round on the site for some of the other 410 threads, you'll find a few lists of "essential" upgrades. (Much of which aren't really essential!)

If you want to swap to 14mm front and rear then you need both sets.
The original front hexes are smaller

Exotek do one with a grub screw AND they are Durango Orange - the best of both worlds

Durango wheels think there the only ones you can use when using the 14mm hex's in either yellow or white

De racing do 14mm hex wheels. Also the new X-ray xb4 uses 14mm hex so there wheels should be fine too
