Hi Guys,

I have just entered for this. Never having been before (except for the Nationals) Can someone let me know what surface and tyre choice is the best. I have entered SC and 4x4.

Many thanks in advance.

The Cracker is indoors and mainly carpet with jumps & bumps. There are often a few slippery corners. Yellow Mini Pins are a safe bet on 4wd buggies, dunno on SC - I'm sure a regular SC runner will be along shortly to add some suggestions.

Heres a short vid showing some racing from a few years ago - it gives a decent impression of the venue and surface (pitting in in another room).

Everyone has their own preference on SC tyres...personally I run standard kit tyres on my Blitz (plenty of additive on the first run) other use any number of combinations of Kourse Kings, Schumacher mini pins, dBoots, Fastrax etc but I find that Kourse Kings are far better suited to Astroturf than carpet.

Russ

i thought it was ace (did qualify 6th though so perhaps a bit biased:woot:)

track was quite restrained by our usual 'wtf' standards
especially for the cracker
the crossoverless crossover was particularly good

you missed a good un
