Does anyone think the ko-propo PDS764ics high torque digital servo?
It has plastic gears, of should I get one with metal gears?

Always go metal in a car without a servo saver.

as everyone says use one with metal gears. i personally use a ko2123 as its the quickest thing i can find but is also very expensive at over 100 quid. depending on your budget perhaps look at the ace 1015 (65-70 quid)or its associated equivalent (not sure on part number) or if you want to go for one of the new half heights id recomend the futaba (again dont know the part number) over the ko as although im a ko fan i snapped the lugs straight off of the ko as opposed to the futaba having a lot of abuse without issue in the test car. choice is yours

Also put some servo tape under the servo when you mount it. On all previous preds (not 100% on the x11) there is enough room for some thin stuff.

I ran 2123 in my X10. As southwell said, the servo mounts are a little "up in the air"!! there is a fair amount of space under them. I trimmed the bottom off the std ones to get servo back on deck, but then swapped to Schumacher ones that were already the correct height.

The B4 alloy ones do also fit fairly nicely.
