Rabbit + Oil

Does anyone know how to clean engine oil off a Rabbit? Marshal has been in the garage under the kit car! :o :o

I would use some washing up liquid and scrub the bugger. Shouldn't irritate the skin.

Easier said than done! I remember the rare few times we tried to bath Thunder... I don't think he liked being held down in a dish of water... UNDERSTATEMENT.

We never dared try with Thumper or Misty... they'd have eaten us!

You could always shave it off and let the new oil-less fur grow back in, like this one!! You could rename it Slick, oil slick or slickless :).

I once had to remove a large quantity of Vaseline from a Guineu Pig, I used plain turps but it was not easy. I always used KY-jelly after that as this is water based and easier to clean up.

Poor marshall i had a rabbit once called monty and once we where giving him a shower when the water went to hot and he squeled really loud.

Just keep scrubbing northy.

wether a guinea pig is covered in vaseline or not is not the issue here, as I presume that's just personal preference. The issue of getting oil off a rabit is also not the issue, despite how cute the rabbit may or may not be.

Surely the main issue here, and the one that has me much more worried than any of the above, is why is the kit car engine leaking oil? :D

As long as it's leaking, it's FINE. If it stops leaking,... it's time to start worrying and check the oil level! :o

I'd use brake cleaner on the rabbit, and any guinea pigs that have accidentally gotten KY jelly on them.

The use of brake cleaner to get rid of mosquitos/spiders, to clean out your microwave or sink,... it's one of those signs that you're addicted to R/C. :D
