I have a mugen super sport I've had it 9 years. When I frost got it 9 years ago the motor blow up in to I got a new motor for it back then. But I didn't know what I was really doing back then so I gave up and put it aside. Well know that I'm 24 now and know more as to what I'm doing and getting back into this hobby I wont to get it running again so I can use it along side of my other nitro cars. The problem I am having is getting the clutch set up to work it is to short to work with my new motor I got years ago for it. Any help to getting this thing running or a point in the right direction would be great.

Hiya mate,

Because your new engine is using a different crank (SG type if memory serves!), you'll be needing a different flywheel which will include a different nut and brass collet.
Give your local model shop a bell and for about a tenner you'll be good to go ;)

Steve.

Yaaa but even if I was to get new flywheel and bell the problem is it well still come up to short on hitting the spur gear it needs to be longer or something to make it contact the spur gear and I can't get any adjustment out of the motor mounts to make it work.
