the xb4 and b44. are both shaft drive also so you may not like them either.

Try a cat K1

Why did you not get on with the Durango ? Did you find it too aggressive to drive ?

Personally I'd look through the manufacturer threads on here and read up about what people think of their cars.

I know Jamie has been using the XB4 and described it between a Durango and a Kyosho so it's possible you might not like that either ?

Plenty of Schumacher SX3's coming up for sale as everyone changes to the new K1 chassis, maybe look at them and get yourself going cheap and see how you do with it, it's meant to be more forgiving and not as aggressive making it easier to drive.

If you get that and can attend your local club after you've been racing for a few months if you want to buy something new perhaps someone else at the club would let you try theirs and you can see how you get on with it. A lot of it is down to personal set up though and therefore a set up that suits one person will not suit another and the same chassis will feel completely different depending on how it's set up.

While you're deciding get to your local club, see what is being run the most, if you were to buy that car you'll get help with set up and will progress quicker than if you buy one no one else is using and struggle along on your own.

Im a aggressive racer but after try so many set ups I cant seem to get car to suit ive played with diffs shock oils everything I find the rear end light into corners and out

Ive had a run with 44.1 and just seemed more balanced for my style off racing
But with the xray releasing xb4 I thought its a option as I ran xb8/808 with 1/8th

other than trying the AE, it sounds like its the shaft drive that is part of the issue for you.

With 1/8th you have the same effect as a belt drive in that the clutch has to engage and the belts spool up.

The XB4's appear to have issues with the front bulkheads breaking too, so an already expensive buggy could cost you a hell of alot more.

That said they all have their own week points.

i have just got a k1 and absolutly love it , have an sx3 aswel which is really easy to drive , but selling that to concentrate on the k1 ..

ive had an xray xt8 a few yrs ago , and found it really aggressive , and uptill 8 months ago had an xray t3'12 touring car , that was quite good , but went back to offroad ..

and after seeing jamie's xb4 breaking at torch , im not too please with it , but i love my shuey's ;)

My B44.2 is super smooth to drive, feels the complete opposite of the DEX410, which i couldn't get along with either.
