An Omani friends little collection of new build Tamiyas

I met a guy across here randomly who is a complete Tamiya nutter, he is so meticulous about his cars, right down to buying complete turnbuckle sets if he so much as marks or heaven forbid puts a 0.1mm scratch on one during a build.

He has boxes and boxes or spares, he says he just loves 'having' the Tamiya items - he reckons he could build another Egress and Avante just from spares.

He refuses to paint them.

All are new build display models......a fair bit of $$$$ there! All have new and correct electrics, CPR units and Technigolds/Dynatechs.

Yep, hes a Tamiyaclub member, and a super nice Guy, with maybe the most awesome Avante class buggy collection we'll ever see, love to see his builds, his latest Avante BS build is just spot on!

That's him Lee!

His name's Haider....I lent him my hex driver as his had rounded a couple of screws....you should have seen him it was like the world had ended! :p

His driver detail is immense too.

Nice guy indeed, meeting up with him tomorrow again in Muscat hopefully.
