Hi, After 23 years of not racing 1/10 Electric Buggies I have now took the plunge and dug out a few old bits (and bought a few new bits too)

I work over a large area of the UK and would love to get some practising in (as my driving is even worse than I thought I would of been!)

Ive searched the local area of north notts to find RHR do practice days occasionally,,,

But is there anywhere else??? Indoors OR Outdoors?? (preferably Indoors this time of year)

I was told of a place near Castle Donnington but I cant seem to find any reference to it on the Web,,,,

Any help/Info/Advice would be appreciated

Thanks in Advance, Matt

WORM in Weston down south, if you join the club you get a key to the outdoor track and can practice when ever you want. details are in their section on here.

Try here, should give you an idea of clubs local to where ever you end up, and the contact details, just bang the postcode in.

If you looking at the Notts/Derby/Leics area, there are a number of tracks you could contact - some permanent, others semi-permanent.

The track you are probably referring to was Ardent Raceway which has sadly closed.

In the same kind of area, you have Broxtowe (just off J26 of M1) which is a semi-permanent facility but run outdoors once a month during the winter (this weekend is their next meeting). Broxtowe also run indoors on a Saturday night, less than 5 mins from the Outdoor venue but I believe this is more of a flat track for on road. You also have A1 Raceway just outside Grantham which is a permanent facility but you need to be a member to practice there. You have West Bridgeford who run a club night indoors on a Friday night which might be of interest to you as well.

You've already mentioned RHR, which is a top quality facility. You can usually arrange for ad-hoc practice there via James Helliwell (James on here) for a small fee.

Coventry is also worth a look as they have a great Astro track which is Permanent and available for practice to their club members.

You also have Silverstone indoors who run regular club nights midweek; check their Forum section for details.

HTH

Thanks for the replies,

I've already been down to Mansfield and Broxtowe and raced (well,,, I attended and was the clubs 'Jam' car for the evening!) last week.

So this is why I was asking for practice tracks,,,,,

Cheers for now, Matt
