Just throw this one out there, I wondered if anyone had sometime like an orion lap counting system or similar they no longer use ? It'd be useful for comparing cars in a review sense so i've been looking at getting one maybe. Just thought it would be worthwhile seeing if anyone has one they want to sell before I go hunt for the best price for a new one.

You want one of those new spectrum fancy systems Jimmy with all the extra bits; you could then compare allsorts of information… just need to convince a nice shop to lend you one or something. Umm to conclude I don’t have one and can’t help yah :)

hmm, yeah, they do lap counting don't they, and you can even see it on a little screen.. interesting.
Jim, contact your LHS or maybe Mirage and set sometihng up with them ? Maybe put a nice little link to mirage on each review? OR borrown one off the BRCA?

Not sure the brca have such things mate. I don't fancy the heartache of approaching yet another distro and being ignored so would rather just buy something myself.:)
do you want one that works auto with a transponder or a manual, hit the button when you come round?? if you need a manual one got type "free lap timing equipment" in to google or borrow a orion advantage charger as they have one built in.

I'm after something automatic like the Orion thing or the Spektrum - which actually sounds like the best option, I never thought about it before. I will have to look into that as an option.
The Robitronic i cube will also count laps for you:bom:
