The 1st release will be the SPYDER SRX-2, the 1/10 scale 2wd buggy, which will be shown at the 2013 Toyfair in Germany next week, and is planned for release in may 2013. For later 2013 and 2014 other versions are planned like 2wd ShortCourse, 2wd Truck, 4wd buggy, 4wd Shortcourse and also some Ready to Race versions. More details to follow.

So far it doesn't look a lot different from any other rear motor... I hope they have something undetr that shell that makes it stand out from other 2WDs - from innovative and quirky features to sheer performance gaining cleverness, it will help Serpent get some market share - exactly what they would need to make sure their 1/10 offroad adventure can have a fruitful future! :)

Looks like a mad rat crossed with a HB D2. May not be groundbreaking but certainly has potential. The Cougar svr isn't bad at all on astro, and I suspect the same of this.
