We offer memberships for the club, priced at £25 for the year.
This gives you a key access the OFF ROAD track and covered pits at any time for open practice (except when the on-road club is using their track, then the off-road track is closed), and cheaper race fee's on the day.
You need to be a member to PRACTICE at the track and memberships are checked.
Racing costs £8 per day for non members, and £5 per day for members, so good savings to be made if your going to be a regular.
Memberships can be bought on race days from race control or by contacting Andy Nancollis (Blue Pinky) or Simon Osbourne (Mr Speedy) here on Oople.
As of 1st Jan 2013 WORM is a BRCA affiliated club!
This means that we now have full liability insurance cover for all the RC related activities we offer, and have the backing and the support of the BRCA (national and regional RC association) for the running of the club.
To race at any of our race days, or practice on the track YOU MUST HAVE A VALID BRCA MEMBERSHIP. Your membership provides you with liability insurance cover for anything that happens on our premises, or anywhere if you are partaking in RC car related activities.
Affiliated membership can be purchased through WORM for £14 or direct from the BRCA at £16.
Saying all this, we are a friendly bunch who will be only to happy to help any newcomers with advice on what to buy or how to get your car sorted, so come and join in the fun.:thumbsup:
