i think it would be good if we use this section for build tips.

1st for me is the fact the manual says in mid motor form to build it in 3 gear form, and rear in 4 gear. i would recomend doing this the other way round. as the car will handle better in 4 gear mid motor with the motor plate on the right hand side if looking from the car from the front.

i just bought the h2 and am in the middle of buiding the gearbox , i was just wondering why it is better to build 4 gear over 3 gear?? Would it be stronger?

in 4 gear it puts the motor in the same rotation as the wheels. this gives better drive from what i understand

in very short, as the suspension compresses, the distance between the ball studs increases and decreases. The link stays the same so the conmpression forces the steering spindles to get pulled or pushed.

You need to use spacers under the steering link ball studs in order to dial it out. Unless you want it that is.

in theory bump steer should give you slightly more aggressive steering

Hi I've just started on my build and wondered if those who have already built their H2 Pro kits can help?

Do you know if there is a set length for the steering link - servo to rack? I can't find a mention of it in the manual.

Also did your chassis bag come with the fixing screws for the side rails and servo mount? Mine is missing the ten 3x10mm countersunk screws and also the two 3x10mm button heads that secure the battery hold down posts. I've not opened any of the other bags in the kit apart from the diff and shock build bags so they might be in another bag?

I carnt remember. But just check your next bags. If not it is only pence to replace them

I found the screws in the bag with the front bulkhead parts and the link needs to be short 4-5mm between the ball studs :)
