Does anybody know of any aftermarket non cab forward shells being made for the dimec chassis'? Or are there any other shells that may fit with a bit of cutting?I don't like cab forwards at all I honestly think they don't work but I'd like to try the longer chassis

@Mihael: I think Joel just might still consider this pretty cab forward... it's still using the cab as an aero device instead of something to make it look like a buggy :p
So Joel, doesn't the stock body fit with some retrimming at the front (after all, some people use +8 and +10mm chassis' and I recall seeing those with standard shells too).
If that doesn't work, maybe some aftermarket manufacturers here on oOple (Bugle, Phat Bodies, Penguin, etc) can help you out? I'm sure you're not the only one with this problem, If I was put into that situation I would even consider to keep running the standard chassis if I can't run a proper body on the +...mm ones

I could make a rear cab shell, my fav rear cab designs are boxy 80s looking ones though. Want a driver figure to go with it? :woot:

The std shell will fit , use the pin at the front and velcro at the rear and if you want use one of the extra body adapters cut to suit at the rear but it is not essential. You wont notice it on the track.
If you are really fussy a little heat from a heat gun around the front sidepod ,but be careful.

thanks, I've seen the original shell fitted on one and it looks naff in my opinion. I was looking at heating one but the dimec is a bit wider as well. If nobody makes one il have a go at it myself

Thats the Pulse RC shell and according to RDRP it will fit on the +11 alloy chassis that they have in the works. based on the pictures, looks like it will fit the Dimec easily
