Race report from Pavel Balint (aka Lockness42) – hat wearing beard growing Slovakian legend.

Held in Bratislava, capital of Slovakia, the event took place over the last weekend of June. Pavel has produced a quick English language race report, pics & onboard-video-madness, just for oOple.

10th Off-road R/C in Slovakia does not seem hold the popularity that it does in the UK, but that does not seem to deter the competitors in the slightest. I certainly wish that track was in my garden – where's my spade?

Pavel, how do you sort out marshalling with only 10 guys racing? do you have heats and finals of 5 cars instead of the usual 10?

Not everyone can afford to race in both categories. So that's the trick :). And there were more than 15 drivers (and some of them had mechanics).

We are also impressed, how hard Dudy worked to make this track. I'm only sad that we don't have more people interested in electric 1:10 buggy class (and not that many drivers in general as you have in UK).

if not this year then next year i will be going over to see my other halfs parents (about an hour from bratislava), when i can confirm the dates id love to come over for a race there as the track looks awsome
