Hi all,

Just woundering if any of you are on bp tablets and if so how are you finding them ? I'm on 3 diffrent ones and they seem to be making me sick as a dog (back at docs today) but just thought I would ask the question

Regards

I'm on Metformin for Diabetes, Lisinoprol for BP and Atorvastatin for cholesterol

Neither my BP or Lipids are particularly high but my GP insists it'll do me good.

The only problem I've had was the statins causing me huge problems with pain in my legs. Most nights I was taking tramadol just to get a few hours sleep. I say was as I've come off them now (against my GP's advice) and gradually I'm improving as they leave my system.

But as for BP tablets I've had no issues - I'd go and see your doc. Not every tablet suits everyone so there will be an alternative which probably doesn't give you the side effects you're suffering from.

I agree with Hog. There are dozens of BP pills your doctor can choose from. Unfortunately it's a bit of trial and error to get to ones that suit you.I managed to get there after 3 different tries.Still a few side effects but I can live with them.

I'm on 10mg of lisinopril and 180mg adizem and an asprin a day for bp as well as 31 other pills a day for my arthritis and tablets to prevent side effects of the other tablets and I never feel sick.
