I am pleased to announce the following dates for the second Boughton Raceway Summer Series supported by DMS Racing.

Round 1 2nd June
Round 2 21st July
Round 3 4th August
Round 4 22nd September

Usual format of 4 rounds with 3 to count.
I will be speaking with Darren from DMS this week who has very kindly offered to support the series once again, hopefully we should be able to put together a similar prize package as last year, details will follow shortly.
Also, you will all be pleased to know, Boughton Bangers will be returning!!

First date is looking unlikely for me - SWMBO says so :(

I hope the vintage is running again - got a pretty mint 1986 Tamiya Boomerang and also hoping on a pre-1990 Kyosho of some kind...

If there is vintage again Barry, will it be the same as last year, 20+ years old, silver closed can 540s?

Hi, yeah same rules as last year for vintage, basically as John said above. 2+4wd rules will be as brca rules.

Will the series be control tyres as last year?

Round 2 clashes with the regional, is that right?

Hi Zip,

I spoke with Darren at Xfactory UK and DMS Racing yesterday, and Im pleased to confirm that Xfactory UK will once again sponsor the series as they did last year, and provide a fantastic end of season raffle to be presented at the last round for those who compete in 3 or more rounds. This means that the Ballistic Buggy spike tyre will be the control tyre for the series, to be used on driven axles only. Choice of compound is entirely up to you guys. We feel this is the best tyre to go with as it provides good traction in both dry and damp conditions, and is also a good tyre for other tracks so worth having in your pit box.
The round 2 date clash is correct, it is purely because I can not keep all dates clear, I have tried to avoid Coastal and regional meetings as best I can, and also the 1/8th Rallycross national dates as I am competing in this again this year.

Hopefully if the weather drys up a bit soon I will be able to arrange a pre season practice session or something similar.
