All,

As we fast approach the end of the 2008 outdoor regionals i'm thinking that an indoor winter regional series would be a good idea especially with the upturn in the number of off road entries.

So would any clubs like be part of a winter series?

I've already had interest from Holbeach, West brigford and Broxtowe.

I'd like to get Worksop interested too, does anyone have any contact details for worksop?

We need to organise some dates pretty quickly.

Thanks

Jim Balls - BRCA Mid East 1/10th Off Road Rep.

Hope this helps, and I have Mark's contact details.

:) Looking forward to putting out a purpose off-road track at wbmcc and not have to make provisions for boring cars :) Expect lots of matts, lots of shiny floor and carpet sections and our trie and tested reebok step obstacles.

Anyone up for having a ME-OR sponsored Vintage cup run at the meetings as well? I am dieing to get my old RC10 out again :woot:

Think Leicester only race touring car?

Will be good to have a ME indoor series, Jim will 2 & 4 run together or will there be seperate meeting for the two classes?

Video evidence! Nice one Antee, Big hall with lots of potential! :) Derby club also race indoors off road, so Derby & Leicester along with Worksop and the present 3 clubs theres a possible 6 venues!! :woot:

It would be nice if other clubs like this wanted to be a part of the regionial series, encouraging its members to attend regionals and race for the region rather than just there club. :)

yep derby might be able to hold a regional, track is large and ideal for such an event but the only thing is hire costs for the hall, i know it costs in my opinion too much for just a club night but i can make an enquiry and see how much

Leicester used to race off-road but i think that was maily down to their visitors from the hinckley club. They have also moved venue now back to the shree wanza centre near the bus station, which is a slightly smaller venue, probably still capable of holding one though.

I think we would have to run 2 and 4wd on the same days as there are soo many race meetings going on over the winter that it would be difficult to get dates.

Anyway guys keep watching this space and me-or for up to date news.:)
