Wheel noise. bearing tyre?

last week my car skidded into the kerb on ice. Smashed my alloy and bent the wishbone. I,ve had new alloys and the wishbone put on but Im getting an oscillating noise from the same corner.
The garage says the bearings are fine so Im just wondering if the impact may have damaged the tyre so as to make the noise. Its a dull low noise but very noticable. There's no vibration or pulling.

Bearing can go with no play evident - I had this on an old Orion years ago. Put it up on the ramp and spun the offending wheel and there was the noise with zero wheel play.

If the corner you hit was a driven wheel, then it may be you've damaged the driveshaft. Depends whether you mean it's a constant rumbling, or an oscillation. Does the noise carry on if you dip the clutch at speed?

Possibly bearing , to check tyre jack up car and spin wheel by hand, you should see or feel distortion. If its ur cmax the bearings will goin both ways but only one side is correct as abs sensor is on one side.

It was a driven wheel, the drive shaft was ok, the engine tone is the same, pretty quite for a diesel at motorway speeds. Its still a smooth ride. I'll have to get it checked again, thats another £170 fitted.

hi i own a garage its nealy always the bearing after hitting the kerb the best way to check is drive the car turn and load the bearing up with the weight of the car if it goes louder when the weight of the car on that wheel then its the one
