Neil Cragg took a hard fought win in the 4WD event at the 2008 EFRA European Championships with the new Yokomo B-Max. Neil didn't have everything his own way in qualifying - laying in third position overnight. As mentioned in the oOple race report though, the last two qualifiers can change everything and Neils Yokomo was dialled in the last two qualifiers - taking both rounds to give him overall TQ.

Neil won the first two legs of the A and sat out the third to allow the other drivers to battle for second. Hupo Honigl took the third in an amazing race with Lee Martin right behind all the way - giving him second overall, with Lee Martin third overall.

Great to see Neil on form again. To win 4wd with a beginner car he'd never driven before, against Europe's best is a great show of skill - well done:thumbsup: Congrat's to all the other UK drivers for a dominant performance :)

Ash, if a girl with a camera asks a man if its ok to take some pictures, most men will let her take as many as she wants, of whatever she wants:lol:

Jimmy,

I see that you have met Manolis. He is really quite impressive. I know he will get it together sooner rather than later and we will see a new car worthy of owning. Im impressed by his designs, including my favourite the conversion of a 2wd Losi buggy to a 4wd. Work of art machining.

Is that a Micheal jackson quote?

Not sure if Micheal Jackson would be interested in talking to a girl, didn't he think the group "Boys to Men" was a home delivery service:woot:

Jimmy keep up the great work. this site is awesome!!

the surface is similar to the one we have in Canada at Sid's raceway. www.sidsraceway.com

Is there any shots of the inside of Neil's Yokomo?? interested to see what options he had on it? looks like it could be a good car for 08/09 season

Theres one or two on the report, but I have a load more to add to the BIG photo gallery - sooooooon :)

Options? nothing really. this car was pretty much standard. the main change was the dampers, from the kit plastic to the BX items. They said if they had the plastic ones on time they would have run those, but they weren't finished.

There were some Hex screws and some phillips - my guess (and it's only a guess) is that the car comes with phillips screws and the Hex screws were added to make maintenance easier for the mechanics. Neil ran with diffs front and rear - so no additional stuff like one ways etc.

Cool thanks for that Jimmy, look forward to the pictures being added, and maybe getting a Yokomo!
